Trash Fashion!

O.k so this is by far the most interesting and aspiring exhibition I've engaged in in quite some time.

Basically, it is a small exhibition in London Science Museum with a selection of apparel which have been made from eco-friendly materials of the future if you like. These 'future materials' are fabricated from plants such as nettles, corn, wheat, sugar cane and bacteria believe it or not. Such an insightful insight into what we hope to be the future of material manufacturing in the fashion industry. It's really amazing what alternative solutions fashion and textile designers today can produce in order to prevent further damage to the environment... Out with the polyester and in with the nettles. Check out more info here.
