Keller Maurer Design Project

Beautiful black and white... This catalogue was designed by Keller Maurer in Munich. It was designed for an experimental art space and looks delightfully fitting for the job but in a nice subtle manner. Nice!

MTV party

CK One opens first EVER pop up shop at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. If you want to go perve on some hot people and some hot gear get yourself down there. You have until the 17th of this month. The store's opening is going to be supported by a series of events, the first of which will be held in London on Thursday 14th April. Hotstuff Lara Stone will be hosting the party at the Village Underground in Shoreditch. Alexis Jorden, Katy B, Professor Green, Pixie Geldof, Alice Dellal, Princess Julia, and Jerry Bouthier will be floating around somewher too. Have fun!

Frida Cacti

This lovely dreamy style shoot with Frida Cacti at Vice demonstrates the unusual mix of fairy wonderfulness and hot sports gear which seems very fitting for the fast approaching London Marathon. I'm not running the London one myself but I am participating in the Amsterdam one in October so I might just adopt Frida's style for the day and hope for the best.

The Armani Times

Sexy newspaper created by Pencil to celebrate hunky drawers himself, David Beckham's second season as the face of Armani. I know it's a newspaper and it's supposed to be black and white but I am loving the black and whiteness of this beautiful looking piece. The type is also looking quite seductive too. Nice work guys!

Frater

Newly launched and seriously sexy clothing line Frater was established just last year by 21 year old Michael Brown. His fashion screams city living and to celebrate Vice are holding a huge party this Sunday, April 3rd in the Deaf Institute in Manchester. If you fancy getting out of London for the night this is the perfect excuse. Get your tickets here and enjoy!

Went to this exi last week in kemistry gallery! Saul's old hand drawn film posters are super impressive compared to some of the shite we see around on the streets today. Again, this darts back to the old hand versus computer debate. Maybe another day...

Primitive is a mix of crazy Japanese fashion inspired by fine art. If the wallet is bulging and you have the balls to wear this brain shoulder pad dress well then go for it. There are also some cool T's for the boyos. The shop is also their 'space' or studio so to speak and you will find it lurking under an old railway line in east london. How retro! More details here.

My good old buddy and even better photographer/sexbomb, Elma Relihan is putting together a great project to promote Ireland as a country! This is a fun project and all proceeds go to charity. You don't have to be an amazing photographer. Just pick out a photo you have taken once upon a time which represents a sense of Irishness to you and send it to photos@green-graph.com.

Drawing Fashion

Back when there were less choices, less computers and more time, these beautiful illustrations were created. They are on display in the design museum until the 6th of march. Defo worth the visit even if it is just to remind ourselves that it's still possible to create amazing pieces without a mac stuck to your eyebrows!

Carbon made!

Carbon made is a good one for perving on other creatives work. They have a collection of portfolio sites for photographers, graphic designers, stylists, fashion designers and more. Some of them are complete tripe and some of them make you feel like you need a kick up the arse. Here are some treasures I found on a random illustrators site today. Francis The Finder!

This is a fab short film directed by friend and very talented film MA graduate, Elizabeth Doonan! Francis The Finder is a hoarder who falls in love with a mannequin, and through whom the wider human strengths and frailties surrounding love, loss and loneliness are examined. It is accompanied by a SICK soundtrack which holds the tendency to march the viewer down a more delectable pathway.

I have a feeling this may be the beginning of a top quality directing bonanza from Doonan!

Back to the Blog!

After the usual over indulgence and making a dick of myself over the xmas hols, I have decided to rekindle my blog and I's relationship. I don't really do new years resolutions but after stealing this lovely pic, I struck a deal with myself to be more pro active.....expect daily bangin blog updates from this day forth!
